About the Role

CareerBeacon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail District Manager to join our team. As a key leader in our organization, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our retail business, which spans eight stores across the province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Performance: You will have full profit and loss responsibility for the retail business, ensuring its profitability and making strategic decisions to drive growth.
  • Senior Team Member: You will collaborate closely with other senior leaders to ensure our organizational strategy is effectively executed, elevating retail issues to the leadership team and board for discussion and resolution.
  • Operational Responsibilities: You will work closely with the operations team on inventory, store deliveries, and supply/demand balancing, as well as coordinate store maintenance and repair needs.
  • Retail Team Leadership: You will provide leadership and direction to enable the store managers and district team to succeed, conducting performance meetings and assisting with recruitment, training, and performance management of their teams.
Requirements
  • Education: An undergraduate degree in business, finance, or marketing is required.
  • Experience: At least two years of retail leadership experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills, project management, and coaching abilities are essential for this role.
