Key Responsibilities
  • Operate school buses in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school buses, ensuring a comfortable and healthy environment for students.
  • Work collaboratively with Principals, teachers, and other staff members to ensure seamless student transportation services.
  • Develop and implement effective transportation plans, taking into account student needs and logistical considerations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 graduation
  • Valid BC Class 2 Driver's License
  • One year of related experience in transportation or a related field
  • Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical capability to perform job duties
  • Willingness to obtain Worksafe BC - Level 1 First Aid certification
