We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Gallucci Winery Inc as a Vineyard Worker. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Management: Clean the crops, clear fields of wood and stones, maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes.
- Fertilization and Irrigation: Mixing fertilizer, fertilize and spray crops, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops.
- Harvesting and Processing: Pick row and orchard crops, harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair farm equipment, including tractors, fertilizer applicators, and sprayers.
- Transportation and Logistics: Valid driver's license, own transportation, and ability to transport equipment and supplies.
The successful candidate will work in a rural area, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work will be physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, and quick learner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have a positive attitude. They will be able to work well in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
