Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineering Specialist to join our team at RBC - Royal Bank. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will provide subject matter expertise on DNS, CDN, and F5 Load Balancers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Advise on the design and implementation of load balancer platforms for new applications.
  2. Provide technical support and incident management for network-related issues.
  3. Contribute to the development of solutions and lead work streams for medium-sized initiatives.
  4. Lead end-to-end change management processes to ensure successful implementation and resolution.
  5. Oversee day-to-day network implementation and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A university degree in Network Engineering or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  2. At least 4 years of experience with DNS, CDN, and F5 Load Balancers.

Nice to have:

  1. SDWAN experience.
  2. Intermediate knowledge of routing and security concepts.
  3. ITIL v3: Foundations, Operational Support & Analysis.
  4. Programming language experience (e.g., Python).
