Job Title: Cement Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at Windmill Group Corporation. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.

Job Summary:

The Cement Finisher will work on various construction projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying finishes, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, repairing, and patching as needed
  • Apply finishes to concrete surfaces, including sealers, hardeners, and epoxies
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surfaces
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate work
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in demanding environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
