**Job Summary**

Grand Erie District School Board is seeking a qualified Elementary Education Specialist to join our team as a Half-Time Grade 1 Educator. This is a contract position that requires a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to our students.

**Responsibilities**

  • Teach a half-time load of Grade 1 students in the afternoon
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment

**Requirements**

  • Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification
  • Qualification to teach in the Primary division, in accordance with Ministry of Education Regulations
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies
