We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Designer Brands. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections, and driving business results through exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume a leadership role with responsibility for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge.
- Facilitate achievement of business results by role modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
- Coach and provide feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
- Open and close the store proficiently.
Requirements:
- Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Excellent customer service and strong will to assist customer needs.
- Motivated and driven to achieve results.
- Ability to work efficiently in the fast-paced team environment.
- Openness to learn and develop new skills.
- Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change.
- Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts, including closing shifts and weekends as required.
