Contracting Specialist Role

Empire Life is seeking a skilled Contracting Specialist to join our Group Products & Marketing team. As a Contracting Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting clients with the Apexa onboarding and contracting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to clients with the Apexa onboarding and contracting process.
  • Set up license sponsorship, carrier support, and other necessary arrangements.
  • Facilitate and process client changes, contracts, and transfers within Apexa.
  • Support the administration and setup of commissions for existing and incoming advisors.
  • Perform other related activities and participate in ad hoc projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Customer support experience.
  • Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database computer software, with system expertise in Apexa and WealthServ.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks, projects, or emails.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with good decision-making skills.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to accurately analyze and review data.
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and mathematical comprehension skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, patience, and empathy.
