Under the supervision of the Director of Research Operations at Queen's Health Sciences (QHS), the Lead Clinical Research Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing and orchestrating the administration of innovative and ongoing multi-center clinical trials for the Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU). The individual will assist in the execution and management of diverse clinical research studies in accordance with established protocols and under the direction of various Principal Investigators.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying suitable candidates for participation in clinical trials.
  2. Gathering and categorizing clinical data, including information extracted from medical records and interviews with study participants.
  3. Collaborating with hospital staff, faculty, and personnel to ensure adherence to trial protocols.
  4. Creating and maintaining comprehensive study databases and essential documentation.
  5. Working in partnership with participating centers and trial committees (including investigators, clinical research associates, and industry partners) in a dynamic international clinical trials landscape.
  6. Enhancing awareness and comprehension of trial design, objectives, and methodologies.
  7. Critically assessing incoming data for precision, relevance, and prioritization.

This role necessitates travel to various sites and may involve occasional evening, night, and weekend work commitments.
