Key Responsibilities:
  • Model exceptional leadership skills, fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of service, ensuring trainers deliver exceptional member experiences.
  • Proactively analyze business trends, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and achieve departmental goals.
  • Implement and execute operational SOPs, including administrative duties and staff accountabilities.
  • Develop and execute a meaningful monthly trainers' forum, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Talent Development and Support:
  • Conduct regular Professional Development Meetings (PDMs) with trainers, aligning their goals with departmental objectives.
  • Provide timely, actionable feedback to trainers, focusing on areas for improvement and growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with club departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Lead sales training for new hires and trainers in need of additional support.
  • Conduct business management workshops, addressing the specific needs of each tier level.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, direct, and develop staff, creating accountability and structured timelines.
  • Outstanding social skills, with a strong desire to interact with members, clients, and staff.
  • Proven sales skills, with a focus on attracting new clients and retention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Consistently positive feedback from colleagues, direct reports, and supervisors.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience in an educational, fitness, or management setting (one year minimum preferred).
  • Exercise Science or Sports Management Degree preferred, with current national certification, CPR/AED, and First Aid.
  • Excellent instructional abilities, with the capacity to lead a curriculum and create strategies for learning.
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry.
