About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our interdisciplinary team as Continuing Care Assistants. As a CCA, you will play a vital role in helping people live well in their own homes, providing exceptional long-term care and home care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with various personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist clients with meals and between-meal refreshments, promoting a sense of community and social connection.
  • Provide respite for families and caregivers, offering a much-needed break and allowing them to recharge.
  • Document client concerns, progress notes, and incident reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Engage residents and families in leisure and recreational programs, fostering a sense of purpose and enjoyment.
Requirements
  • Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • Related education and/or work experience, with eligibility to enroll in the CCA RPL Program
  • Students in nursing, CCA programs, and international educated nurses are encouraged to apply
