About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial and Construction Project Manager to join our team at Teknema Inc., a leading provider of turnkey construction and project management services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling project operations in an industrial and construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate between professionals, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project schedules and budgets are respected.
  • Assist in the preparation of plans and specifications for turnkey projects in collaboration with the interdisciplinary project team.
  • Issue tender documents and award contracts to subcontractors.
  • Manage project archives and document management.
  • Monitor work carried out on site by subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Organize and lead coordination meetings and site monitoring between subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and correction of problems on site.
  • Estimate costs of various construction works.
  • Coordinate work with the site superintendent and assist with project closure at the construction, contractual, and administrative levels.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and/or industrial environments, preferably in food, chemical process, and biopharmaceutical disciplines.
  • Hold a baccalaureate in construction engineering, building engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or agri-food engineering.
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
  • Mastery of IT tools for budget and schedule monitoring, including MS Project.
  • Experience in engineering-consulting management is an asset.
  • Determines a driving license.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, codes, and standards related to the fields of activity.
  • Have a car and be mobile in the Montreal, South Shore, and North Shore region.
