About This Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled System Test Specialist to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing requirements with clients, creating test plans, writing and executing tests, and reporting anomalies.

Your Challenges

  • Develop and execute test plans for avionics benches, integrated benches, full simulators, and aircraft.
  • Design and implement new functionalities for onboard software applications, including mission computer, armament computer, and communication control unit.
  • Collaborate with operational specialists to optimize the operational effectiveness of the CF-18.
  • Support the Canadian Armed Forces during flight exercises.
  • Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and quality.

Your Strengths

  • Bachelor of engineering degree.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or C# programming.
  • Knowledge of aeronautics and/or avionics and/or testing.
  • Experience in development, integration, and real-time testing of embedded software.
  • Ability to work in a team and interact with multidisciplinary groups.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Operational Requirements

  • Meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain government of Canada's "Reliability" status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
  • Be able to work in a location not accessible via public transportation.
