We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at INNISFAIL HOTEL. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring they are working effectively and safely.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people.
Support for Diverse Groups:- We offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- We provide opportunities for youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
