We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Management Accountant to join our UK & I Asset Management department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering financial support services under Management Service Agreements (MSAs) across multiple clients owning renewable assets under management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journal postings, and provide timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external clients.
- Manage and deliver cash flow forecasts by liaising with internal asset managers and clients, ensuring accurate and reliable financial information.
- Oversee debtor management for entities, ensuring timely and efficient payment processing.
- Prepare periodic financial reporting and variance to budget analysis for internal and external clients, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit for SPV companies, adhering to IFRS, FRS 102, and UK GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the wider Finance and ERP Development teams to drive continuous improvements to accounting and reporting processes.
- Provide regular updates and information to operational business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of management and statutory accounting principles.
- Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to advance and apply complex formulas and functions.
- Proven experience in producing detailed management accounts and financial reporting.
- Excellent technical accounting skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quick learner, able to grasp the needs of the department with minimal supervision.
- Proactive and 'can-do' attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence in reporting and analysis.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with external parties and non-finance stakeholders.
