Langley, Canada Hallmark Facility Services Inc Full time

At Hallmark Facility Services Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, planning and setting up accounting systems, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, recommending improvements to accounting systems and management practices, and providing financial, business, and tax advice to our management team.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for overseeing payroll administration, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Maintain accurate financial records

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience in accounting and finance an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
