Role Overview
As the next Market Research and Insights Specialist at ATB, you will play a crucial role within the Advisory Services' business insights team. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on market trends and the competitive landscape, extracting vital insights from complex datasets, and effectively communicating your findings through clear and actionable reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive market and competitor analysis; maintain and expand a portfolio of reliable sources while identifying new information connections.
- Analyze both internal and external datasets to gain a thorough understanding of client experiences and identify areas for enhancement.
- Simplify complex qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, actionable narratives, reports, and dashboards tailored for diverse audiences.
- Ensure the accuracy of research and data findings through diligent cross-referencing, delivering consistently high-quality and error-free outputs.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in analytical and strategic roles to drive business outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- A university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Strong research skills; ability to quickly identify relevant and credible sources to analyze industry trends and challenges.
- Proven experience working with both quantitative and qualitative datasets to extract insights and formulate recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong personal accountability for delivering high-quality results and incorporating feedback into future work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker is considered an asset.
