Key Responsibilities- Assist in drafting and posting internal and external job postings
- Coordinate candidate testing and interviews
- Prepare employment correspondence
- Respond to questions on the City's recruitment policies, practices, and procedures
- Maintain recruitment-related information and documentation
- Currently enrolled in a recognized College or University Co-op program, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service and/or administrative role within an office work environment
- General knowledge of HR practices and relevant employment legislation
- Intermediate interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and customer service skills
- Intermediate organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), human resources information systems, interview testing software, and the Internet
