Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including daily specials, and be able to describe them to our guests.
  • Customer Service: Provide attentive and courteous service to our guests, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Order Taking: Take orders accurately and efficiently, relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to our guests, ensuring that they are delivered promptly and with a smile.
  • Wine Selection: Offer wine recommendations to our guests, providing information on wine pairings and descriptions.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Special Needs: Assist guests with special needs, providing a personalized and inclusive experience.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
