Role Purpose

The Senior Manager of PMO and Strategic Initiatives plays a crucial role in driving the success of Global Transaction Banking's strategy by identifying and developing transformational opportunities while ensuring compliance with all governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a customer-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank systems and knowledge.
  • Oversee and support transformational projects, maintaining executive reporting to facilitate informed decision-making at the executive level.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, define, document, and manage implementation activities and timelines.
  • Responsible for developing business cases and tracking/reporting project and financial status for SIP, Delivery Office, and Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, working closely with stakeholders and finance partners.
  • Manage integrated project plans, status reporting, meetings, and issue/risk management for integrated projects, ensuring effective communication of information to leadership within the governance structure.
  • Establish tracking and monitoring systems/tools to measure progress and key metrics, ensuring ongoing compliance with the operational model.
  • Understand the Bank's risk appetite and culture, incorporating these considerations into daily activities and decisions.
  • Create an environment that fosters effective and efficient operations while ensuring adherence to operational risk, regulatory compliance, and conduct risk obligations.
  • Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates team members by fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Champion a high-performance culture and contribute to an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business or project management within the financial services sector.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles and agile methodologies.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to new approaches.
  • Excellent organizational, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated strategic influencing and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and high-pressure environments with changing deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional conflict management skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
