This position is fully remote.
At Inuson International Inc. (i3), we are dedicated to empowering web3 enterprises in optimizing their financial workflows. We collaborate with leading innovators in the industry, allowing them to concentrate on their primary mission: development. Conventional financial systems were not designed for the decentralized finance landscape. Welcome to Inuson, your transformative partner, where financial oversight and bookkeeping become a streamlined process, even amidst the complexities of cryptocurrency.
Who We Are Looking For
Are you an enthusiastic and talented engineer with a passion for creating resilient and scalable applications? Do you excel in a team-oriented atmosphere, ready to leverage your skills to transform the fintech sector? If you are excited about working with advanced technologies and making a significant impact, we would love to connect with you.
We are on the lookout for exceptionally skilled ML Engineers to join our vibrant team. We seek individuals who can apply their knowledge in developing AI solutions tailored to financial and cryptocurrency applications, designing an initial pipeline (with assistance from our infrastructure team), and ultimately delivering AI functionalities that enhance customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Development: Crafting, developing, and deploying machine learning models for diverse applications within the crypto finance sector, including predictive analytics, fraud detection, transaction categorization, and risk assessment.
Fine-tuning: Adjusting ML models for specific applications, such as creating heuristics to identify fraudulent transactions, improving reconciliation processes through historical transaction analysis, and enhancing the explainability of on-chain transactions that our clients need to reconcile.
Deployment: Streamlining the deployment of ML models into production environments utilizing tools and frameworks like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, minimal latency, and precision.
Monitoring: Establishing monitoring systems to track model performance metrics, identify drift, and initiate re-training to sustain prediction accuracy and dependability.
Architecture: Enhancing our client architecture to facilitate quicker training and deployment cycles, collaborating with the Platform Engineering team.
Collaboration: Working alongside the full-stack engineering team to ensure smooth integration of ETL processes, data warehousing, and streaming to support efficient model training and evaluation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production web applications
- Strong interest in the cryptocurrency space and developing financial products
- Experience in building and deploying ML models in production environments
- Ability to thrive in an early-stage startup where much of the ML and data science infrastructure is being established from the ground up
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in at least one ML framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in model fine-tuning and heuristic development.
- Strong understanding of constructing and maintaining processing pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka.
- Expertise in deploying machine learning models to production settings.
- Knowledge of monitoring and ensuring the performance of deployed models.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
