We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Specialist to join our team at Evergreen Building Maintenance Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are free from debris and clutter.
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, power sweepers, carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, and steam cleaners to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a visually appealing environment.
- Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Snow and Ice Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to facilities.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Apartment/condominium complex, motel, urban area, rural area, office building, various locations, industrial facility or establishment, recreational facility/institution, health care institution, facility, or clinic, hotel, motel, resort.
- Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, organized, reliability.
- Learning/Training: Paid by employer.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
