Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to provide essential care and support to clients in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Work in the comfort of the employer's/client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Support clients in maintaining regular exercise routines, such as walking.
  • Assist with feeding or provide support during mealtimes.
  • Launder clothing and household linens as needed.
  • Mend clothing and linens to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
Certifications Required
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Safety and Security
  • Criminal record check is mandatory.
