Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of NetSuite Client Services within our Finance & Operations Practice. This position is pivotal in steering NetSuite client projects, acting as a functional expert, spearheading sales initiatives to attract new clients and enhance existing partnerships, mentoring our NetSuite team, contributing to thought leadership, and promoting best practices within our NetSuite offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee NetSuite client projects, acting as the project lead and functional authority for our clientele.
  • Utilize functional expertise to provide insights on client business operations, including financial closing, transactional reporting, integrated financial statements, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and related processes.
  • Adopt a functional, business, and process-oriented approach to technology implementation. The ideal candidate should possess relevant finance and accounting experience, along with familiarity with NetSuite.
  • Develop and mentor our NetSuite team with an emphasis on client success, collaborating with a diverse group of consultants and architects.
  • Introduce best practices for NetSuite implementations.
  • Establish thought leadership in NetSuite by authoring articles, blogs, and potentially presenting at user conferences.
  • Enhance and cultivate our reputation as a NetSuite partner.
  • Lead project teams managing multiple workstreams that include client-side personnel and Spaulding Ridge consultants, adhering to our delivery methodology and project standards. These projects may involve NetSuite alongside other technologies.
  • Drive new business opportunities and projects for our NetSuite team in North America.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities:
  • Conduct initial client discovery sessions to comprehend business requirements and challenges.
  • Estimate and define project scope, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to address technical inquiries and concerns during the sales process.
  • Contribute to the creation of statement of work (SOW) documents.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with NetSuite, demonstrating involvement in 5+ end-to-end NetSuite deployments.
  • Experience in managing a team of high-performing consultants.
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall experience, ideally in accounting and software consulting, or in supporting software consulting and implementation.
  • NetSuite Foundations or NetSuite ERP certification is preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate customer business needs into dynamic solutions that deliver exceptional value for our clients.
  • Experience in change management and business process mapping in support of major software implementations is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business preferred, or relevant professional experience.
