Job Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery with precision and care.
  • Maintain and lubricate equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Measure and assess distance, volume, length, and weight accurately.
  • Utilize computer-controlled machinery effectively.
  • Familiarize with material safety data sheets (MSDS) for safe operations.
  • Complete necessary logs and documentation.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections on equipment.
  • Prepare reports in the event of accidents.
  • Attach and secure special equipment as needed.
  • Use GPS and other navigation tools for accurate operation.
  • Communicate effectively using two-way radios and other devices.
  • Perform minor repairs on machinery as required.
  • Operate hydraulic pumping systems efficiently.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications accurately.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in excavation and heavy equipment operation.
Safety and Security
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract) is mandatory.
  • Drug testing may be required.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime.
