Job Summary

Sibwest Inc. is seeking a skilled Communication Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Equipment: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cables and associated hardware.
  • Inspect and Test Signals: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read Blueprints: Read blueprints and technical documents to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Repair and Maintain Networks: Repair and maintain telecommunications networks, including cables, equipment, and associated infrastructure.
  • Complete Reports: Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to document work performed and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Work Safely: Work safely at heights, using ladders, poles, and other support structures to access and maintain equipment and networks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
