About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Sales Associate to join our team at RONA+. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of our store displays and ensuring that our products are presented in a way that drives sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain product displays and ensure they are visually appealing and well-stocked
  • Communicate with the merchandising team to prioritize projects and ensure timely completion
  • Review and complete assigned merchandise reset and service tasks
  • Ensure reset merchandise is stocked, fronted, and priced according to planogram
  • Provide project information and updates to the merchandising team
  • Identify and remove damaged products from shelves and deliver them to the Return to Manufacturer area
  • Assist in verifying buyback items and ensuring they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
  • Install, maintain, and reorder damaged signage and product brochures
  • Clean and dust displays, replace damaged beams and grids, and correct planogram steel elevations
  • Repair and seal damaged packaging and boxes
  • Operate power equipment as needed
  • Provide feedback and analysis on service execution to store, market, and corporate leaders
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
  • 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks (preferred)
  • Experience operating power equipment (in asset)
  • Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (preferred)
  • Task and results-oriented, ability to work in a repetitive work environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and react to unexpected outcomes in a timely manner
  • Be open to feedback
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule from 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work standing, bending, sitting, and/or walking continuously and completing a full day's work, including scheduled breaks. You will also be required to handle and move objects that can weigh up to 50lbs and move heavy objects using the appropriate equipment.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $19.00 - $21.60, with pay varying based on experience. RONA+ is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
