Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities
Oversee the daily operations of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.
Establish Work Schedules and Coordinate with Other UnitsDevelop methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units to ensure efficient production.
Recommend Personnel ActionsRecommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure the right team members are in place to meet production goals.
Prepare Production ReportsPrepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Improve Productivity and QualityRecommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requisition Materials and EquipmentRequisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support production activities.
Work Environment- Supervise a Team of 5-10 People
Supervise a team of 5-10 production workers, including plastic products assemblers, finishers, and inspectors.
Work SettingWork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on producing high-quality plastic products.
Language of WorkWork in a predominantly English-speaking environment, with some French language skills an asset.
Hours of WorkWork 40 hours per week, with some overtime possible during peak production periods.
