Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Helper to join our team at our Sarnia, ON location. As a Helper, you will assist with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high-pressure water equipment, and various specialty tools. You will work safely at heights up to 100 meters, climb into small vessels and tanks, and ensure the safety of all team members and property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with equipment operation and maintenance
  • Work safely at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
  • Learn new skills and rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, and safety documents

Requirements

  • Valid Class G driver's license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years
  • 1+ years experience in an industrial environment (asset but not required)
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling required)
