Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Tomato E-commerce Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport goods and materials, as well as overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting its equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle's tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch teams to receive and relay information, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption for reporting and analysis purposes.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D) and a clean driving record.
  • Communication: Effectively operate GPS and other navigation equipment, as well as communicate with dispatch teams and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
