About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at 0990135 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts and measurements to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to construct and install building frames.
  • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Manage a large workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent judgment, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong values and ethics.
