In this pivotal role, reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Development, you will play a crucial part in shaping and overseeing the data and reporting framework for our organization. This strategic position will leverage your expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and report generation to advance our business intelligence capabilities as we transition to a modern architecture utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and govern the business intelligence and reporting platforms.
- Analyze and provide insights into reporting platform usage and performance metrics.
- Facilitate the migration of existing data warehouses and critical reporting to a new data architecture.
- Ensure data integrity and quality, acting as the custodian of data standards.
- Develop data dictionaries to enhance the reporting framework.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improving business process efficiencies.
- Resolve technical issues and adapt existing reporting applications to meet evolving user needs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical proficiency in relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
- Expertise in the Microsoft SQL Server suite, including TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
- Extensive experience in data migration, cleansing, validation, and de-duplication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in developing and implementing operational standards and procedures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with cloud computing, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft D365.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and pipelines.
