Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of Captain, BE02. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot and entails a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the BE02 aircraft.
- Perform all necessary duties associated with the BE02 aircraft.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations in compliance with company policies, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations).
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
- Engage in flexible scheduling arrangements, including 5 and 2 or 10 and 4 rotations.
Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. Additionally, personality profiling will be conducted for all candidates selected for an interview.
Required Qualifications:- Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
- Current Instrument and Type rating (if applicable).
- 3,000 hours of Total Flight Time.
- 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- 1,500 hours in Multi-Engine aircraft.
- 1,000 hours as Multi PIC.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience on type.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety as outlined in Sunwest's Safety Management System manual.
