Job Title: Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and assessing various structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting structural analysis, calculations, and simulations using industry-standard software.
  2. Developing detailed design plans and construction drawings.
  3. Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  4. Assessing the structural integrity of existing buildings and recommending necessary improvements.
  5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project outcomes.
  6. Attending site visits and conducting inspections as required.
  7. Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  2. Proven experience in structural engineering, preferably within consultancy or construction firms.
  3. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, or similar.
  4. Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
