Position Overview

Skyship Entertainment is seeking a freelance, non-union writer with a background in children's and preschool television production, specifically in the realm of educational entertainment for pre-kindergarten audiences.

Our company specializes in producing animated, puppet, and live-action series designed for digital platforms, as well as audio-first projects such as podcasts and radio plays tailored for young children. We are in search of a versatile writer who is adept at navigating various formats and mediums.

For over a decade, Skyship has been dedicated to providing engaging and educational content for infants and toddlers through our renowned brand, Super Simple Songs.

We pride ourselves on delivering entertaining and enriching experiences through popular series like The Bumble Nums, Carl's Car Wash, Imagination Time, and many others.

We are looking for a writer who possesses a deep understanding of our pre-k audience and their developmental requirements, enabling us to continue producing exceptional animated and live-action content for children.


Qualifications
  • Experience in writing for children's television
