Job Summary
The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Risk Operations National Office team. As a student in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and utilize a combination of communication skills and analytical skills while supporting internal communication and enhancing employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support digital storytelling and content for new products, projects, tools, and processes.
- Support the execution of the RO Employee Engagement plan, including planning, organizing, and executing small to large employee engagement events.
- Support the leads of strategic initiatives in developing a framework for monitoring progress of in-flight initiatives, socializing the progress of these initiatives, and identifying and raising any barriers that may limit progress of those initiatives.
- Learn the responsibilities of Risk Operations and how our department plays a key role within the organization.
- Build relationships with team members and understand the broader team structure to ensure the appropriate team members are engaged to support discussions with functional partners.
Requirements
- Strong written skills and an ability to articulate a vision or define a process accurately.
- Strong competencies in collaboration, time management, and communications, with an attention to detail.
- Ability to grasp information quickly with a high attention to detail.
- Show a willingness to continually enhance skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the job.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current study program in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience writing strategy, business, or project communications, flair for blogs and written/visual corporate stories.
