Position Overview

The role of the Electrical Maintenance Technician involves ensuring the optimal performance of various electrical and mechanical systems within our operations at E.M.S. SEIMEC INC.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests and monitor the electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electromechanical devices.
  • Replace or refurbish components such as shafts, bearings, and commutators.
  • Execute static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
  • Provide on-site maintenance and repair services.
  • Evaluate repaired equipment to confirm proper functionality.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Eligible for group insurance benefits.
  • Transportation will be provided by the employer.
  • Travel insurance is included.
