Data Governance Strategist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager/Manager to lead our Data Governance program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures data quality, security, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy and Policy Development: Develop and implement a data governance strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
- Data Security and Compliance: Collaborate with IS security teams to develop and implement new data governance policies to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data assets.
- Governance Committee: Facilitate and influence senior executives in supporting the implementation of a data governance committee.
- Training and Awareness: Promote a culture of data governance and ensure adoption of data governance policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, etc.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in data governance, business intelligence, and data analysis.
- Skills: Proven experience leading, developing, and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
