As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physiotherapist to provide high-quality care to residents in a Long Term Care setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist with conducting group exercises and one-on-one exercises with residents as directed by the Physiotherapist.
* Encourage residents to reach their treatment goals and document progress.
* Assist with walking, sitting, and safe transferring of residents.
* Monitor changes in residents' health status and report to the Physiotherapist or supervisor.
* Perform treatments such as applying ice packs, hot packs, and electrotherapy.

**Requirements:**

* Must be a Physiotherapy Assistant graduate or equivalent.
* Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, supervisors, and teammates.
* Experience working in Long Term Care or Retirement homes is an asset.
* Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
* Valid 2 STEP TB Test and/or Chest X-Ray is required.
* Access to a reliable vehicle is required.
* Must be a resident of Tavistock and/or surrounding area.
