Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Labourers: Oversee a team of labourers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Implement and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Manage Site Operations: Coordinate and supervise the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel on site, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Train and Develop Labourers: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to labourers, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Source and procure materials and supplies as required, ensuring that all necessary equipment and resources are available on site.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the construction industry is an asset.
  • Certifications: Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate is required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: Work will be performed outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
