About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Previce Home Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Help patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist with feeding and serving meal trays
    • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Provide Personal Care
    • Assist patients with toileting and incontinence care
    • Help patients with mobility and transfer assistance
  • Support with Medical Care
    • Assist with administering medications (as per client's care plan)
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the care team
  • Engage in Activities and Socialization
    • Encourage patients to participate in activities and hobbies
    • Assist patients with communication and socialization
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Assist with cleaning and disinfecting patient areas
    • Help maintain a safe and clutter-free environment
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Certifications and Training
    • First Aid Certificate
    • CPR Certificate
    • Nursing Aide Certificate
