Furniture Fabrication Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Mar-Tec Woodworking LTD. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
- Finishing and Assembly: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
- Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise other workers and work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer needs and preferences.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of settings, including custom cabinet shops, industrial settings, and residential environments.
