We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Modern Kitchens & Woodworking. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Fabrication: Study plans and specifications to create custom cabinet designs, and fabricate parts and components using woodworking machines and hand tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Project Management: Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver products on time.
- Maintenance and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
- Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced workshop environment with exposure to wood dust and other materials.
- Physical Demands: Prolonged standing, walking, and manual labor.
