Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso Hawkesbury/MacEwen Hawkesbury. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
    • Assign tasks and duties to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor stock levels and reorder merchandise as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Store Operations
    • Establish and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Urban retail environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
