Job Title: Funeral Director Assistant

We are seeking a Funeral Director Assistant to join our team at Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with families to plan and coordinate funeral services, ensuring a personalized and respectful experience.
  • Assist in the preparation of remains, including cleaning and dressing.
  • Coordinate burials and cremations, ensuring all necessary paperwork and logistics are in order.
  • Pre-arrange funerals, working closely with families to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Arrange for the transfer of remains from the place of death to our funeral home.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment, 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
