Position Overview

The role of the Machine Shop Supervisor at A CLASS TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD involves overseeing daily operations within the workshop environment, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or machine shop setting
Work Environment

The work site is characterized by:

  • Dusty conditions
  • Noisy atmosphere
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule daily activities to optimize workflow
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee the operation of machinery and equipment
  • Requisition or order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Set up and maintain machines and equipment
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 workers on various projects
  • Utilize computer numerical control (CNC) machines effectively
