Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess the needs and living conditions of clients
  • Create and execute tailored care plans
  • Offer personal care assistance, including help with daily living tasks
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
  • Adhere to safety protocols and risk management standards

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Completion of high school or equivalent education
  • Graduation from a Home Support Worker or Personal Support Worker training program
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Excellent communication and assessment abilities
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively

Essential Requirements

  • Possession of a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and comply with PPE guidelines
