Job Summary

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Service Representative II. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience in our recreation and cultural facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with cash management, clerical and administrative tasks, and technical duties as required.
  • Support program registration and information, as well as provide general supervision and quality service to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a positive and inclusive experience.
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 11
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role and working with the public
  • Completion of college diploma in Administration, Recreation or related field, combined with a minimum of 6 months of experience, is desirable
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Standard First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR - 2-rescuer certificate
  • Current AED Operator certificate
  • AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
