Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team at Challenger Motor Freight Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our computing platforms in a hybrid in-house/cloud hosted environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support IT infrastructure elements, including server hardware, storage platforms, and network devices.
  • Configure and administer Active Directory, GPO, Office 365, and other Microsoft services.
  • Monitor and maintain server capacity, including virtual servers and Azure-based cloud platforms.
  • Provide Level II helpdesk support and assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and services.
Requirements:
  • University degree or technical college certificate in a computer-related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Systems Administrator in a Microsoft environment.
  • Experience with VMWare virtualization technology, MS SQL Server, and network monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certification.
  • Experience with cloud computing environments and scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of IT security tools and concepts.
