Project Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions Role

The Project Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions is responsible for planning, executing, and completing all projects resulting from store transactions within budgets and deadlines. This role involves coordinating the efforts of multidisciplinary operations and head office teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Global M&A Project Management: Project start-up, progress tracking, identifying corrective actions, updates to the project plan and schedule. Plan and manage the store integration process. Perform risk management, stakeholder management, deliverables review, and post-mortem.
  • Project Management Tools Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate and produce follow-up reports for stakeholders and project status to the management committee. Identify opportunities for improvement in the project management process.
Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate or equivalent (asset);
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including project management;
  • PMP certification (asset);
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project (asset);
  • Bilingual, French and English, oral and written, as collaboration with internal clients across Canada is required.
